Rates For Trash Disposal:
Small trash bags= $2.00 each
Large trash bags = $3.00 each
Pickup Truck Bed = $25.00
Trailer full of miscellaneous/bags = $50.00
Furniture, mattresses, toilets, sinks = $15.00 each item
All trash will be placed in dumpsters by individuals.
The facility was established for the convenience and exclusive use for Karnes County residents for the disposal of HOUSEHOLD GENERATED TRASH ONLY.
THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED:
1. Commercial waste-construction & demolition waste including wood, metal or concrete.
2. Residential waste-construction & demolition waste including wood, metal or concrete.
3. Regulated hazardous waste-oil, oil filters, batteries, tires, scrap tires, or paint containers holding liquid other than household generated.
4. Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners or any other items containing chlorinated fluorocarbon (CFC)
5. Bulk or non containerized liquid
6. Polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) waste
7. Sewage sludge
8. Drill Bores
* All metal waste will be disposed of at the metal collection site on Hwy 123 in Karnes City*
* This site does not accept brush/tree trimmings including bagged leaves*
